Education & coaching nights

SNRR holds Education and Coaching nights from March to September, generally monthly during the season on a Monday or Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at various locations across our district.

A typical night covers the latest news and events, law amendments and focal points, practical demonstrations and open-forum discussion โ€” plus great camaraderie among fellow referees. We've been lucky enough to host International Test and Super Rugby referees including Angus Gardner, Amy Perret and Will Houston.

Attend a minimum of three education nights and SNRR pays a bonus in your end-of-year payment โ€” an added incentive to come along.

See all the dates for the season in the SNRR 2025 Calendar.
