For clubs & schools
Need a referee?
SNRR appoints qualified match officials to club, school and representative rugby right across Sydney's north. Here's how to get one.
Competition matches
If your match is part of a junior, schools or suburban competition, referees are appointed through the competition itself — you don't need to do anything here.
If an appointment hasn't appeared, or something's gone wrong with it, contact the NSWRU Juniors Match Officials Appointments Officer:

Trials, galas & one-offs
Running a trial, gala day, carnival, pre-season friendly or a school fixture outside the usual competition? That's what the form below is for.
Give us as much notice as you can — referees are volunteers with their own weekend commitments, and the earlier we know, the more likely we can cover you.
We cover the Gordon, Northern Suburbs, Manly and Warringah districts — Harbour Bridge to Hornsby, Hunters Hill to Newport.
Request a referee
Tell us about the match and we'll come back to you.
A word on looking after referees
Most of our members are volunteers, and a good number are teenagers refereeing players not much younger than themselves. A friendly word from your coaches and parents before kick-off goes a long way to keeping them in the game.
If something does go wrong on the day, please see respect & match official abuse for how incidents are handled.
